The stadiums are PUBLIC UTILITIES. Which means they are paid for by the taxpayer....and can be used for emergencies. So, open them up on non-game night for TENT CITY. And allow homeless people to pitch tents at the stadiums. Make it professional, with breakfast, showers, job counciling, emergency medical, etc. These sports entertainers are taxpayer subsidized millionaires, so let's see them put their money where their charitable mouth is at. They can step up to the plate and help out. The stadiums can be used to house homeless people, they got all the facilities, and use to handling crowds. And let's see other cities help out.

The 4.2 Billion dollar waterfront is one big waste of priorities. We need to replace the culverts for salmon, repair 300 million dollars worth of city streets, and got bridges to repair. If there is any way by which the waterfront tunnel can be built, then build a TWO LANE tunnel instead of a SIX LANE tunnel and make buses and vanpools priority. Then use the tolls to pay off the first two lane tunnel. Once paid off, then build the second two lane tunnel for tollcars and trucks. Once this second two lane tunnel is paid off, then build the third two lane tunnel. This way there is less risk, i say structurally stronger, promotes transit, and is within financial scope. The present plan is financially irresponsible. But by building three two lane tunnels, in phases, it is financially responsible...

Key to revitalizing Seattle's economy is Seattle City Light, right now we have a three tier utility structure, where the more you use, the more you pay. Going to a 12 Tier structure, will encourage much more electricity conservation, and encourage conservation...which allows Seattle City Light to sell more electricity to California. This allows Seattle City Light to set up a "solar and renewable energy bank" so people can borrow money to install solar and renewable energy equipment on their roofs. This employs people, conserves more electricity, by which Seattle City Light can sell more electricity to California.
This encourages more electricity conserved and sold to California, which increases funding for alternative energy loans...which in turn creates more electricty to sell to California. The day would come when Seattle City Light would pay the residents of Seattle.
